Barnaby of Bramble Bay

He doesn’t purr. He doesn’t share. And he certainly doesn’t want any friends…

…but somehow, friends keep finding him anyway. Funny, warm-hearted read-aloud stories about the grumpiest cat by the sea, by Alan Cuzen.

Welcome to Bramble Bay

A little seaside town with a very grumpy cat

Bramble Bay has cobbled lanes, a busy fish market, a creaky old boardwalk and a harbour full of noisy seagulls. It also has Barnaby — a grey tabby with one torn ear who would like everyone to leave him entirely, completely, perfectly alone.

Each book brings a new visitor who won’t take no for an answer. Barnaby never turns sweet… but by the last page, he always makes a little room.
